Oh, are you heading out on an adventure today? I see you're all buckled up and ready to roll. But wait—a question before we hit the road?

XXX:  “What can I do when I am bored in the car?”

What! You’re bored in the car? No way! That’s prime imagination time. We have a few ideas but first..

Let’s start by getting our wiggles out. Go ahead and wiggle. 

That’s right–your toes and arms, your fingers and legs. Wiggle them up and down and all around. Now settle those wiggles into a comfortable spot. Take a deep breath in, feeling your body fill with calm.… breathe out, as you exhale whisper to yourself, ‘I am safe.’ Inhale again… and feel love fill your body. Whisper, ‘I am loved.’

With one more deep breath, your imagination is ready. So let’s begin our adventure…

So sit back, relax…and mello. 

Now imagine this: your car isn’t just a car today.

It’s a portal traveler—an ordinary car with some major upgrades. A glowing blue dashboard. Sturdy wings with handmade turbines, propelling you through the air. And a little lever with“Portal Mode” switched “ON.”

Before we start our adventure, remember that you have the ability to feel relaxed, aware, and even joyful anywhere you go. Now, let’s make sure we’re sitting the right way. Scoot your tush all the way against the seat. Straighten your back, and put your hands on the armrests….or in your lap. 

Take this moment to make yourself comfortable. Close your eyes and snuggle in. 

Take a deep breath in…and out…in…and out…one more time…in…and out…

Feel the vibrations of the car beneath you. 

Now imagine you’re traveling through a portal. All around your window, purple and pink clouds with flashes of orange swirl around you. Feel your body moving through space, safe and secure. 

(Sounds of portal and music)

You’re headed toward a new land…maybe a kingdom built against the edge of a cliff. Or a forest castle, with wooden passages built just below the treeline, lit by wandering fireflies. Or another dimension, filled with creatures living their lives in worlds so different that we could hardly imagine it. 

You don’t know…in fact, you’re not quite sure how you ended up in the portal, or where you were planning to go. But here you are…headed toward an adventure. Sit with this feeling…with the promise of a new experience. 

(Music. Sounds of vibration)

For now, you’re nice and snug, floating through this portal, whisps of colorful clouds flickering by. 

(Slight wind, music, gentle rattling, muted ‘beeps’)

Feel the hum of the engine travels up through the seat, and into your body…relaxing you. 

(Same)

Rest softly now, knowing that wherever this portal takes you, you’ll be safe along the way - even if the path is unknown. 

Swirling spirals of deep blue seep into the pink and purple clouds. You wonder what lives here, in this halfway realm. 

Your question is answered. 

(whinnying….ummm you get it) 

In the distance, the sky reveals a blur of wings and hooves (huuuuves) gliding between towers of purple. Hundreds of winged pegasus galloping through the air. Long ribbons of silver liquid dance past your vision with a mind of their own. Miles and miles away, a dark form as tall as a skyscraper drifts behind the clouds. 

You wonder where these fascinating creatures are going…and what worlds they came from…

(Sounds)

Take a quiet moment to look around you, what else do you see? 

A glowing seam unravels in the sky ahead. Threads of violets and gold spilling from the wide tear. You feel your car pulling toward it. Toward adventure. Like it knows there is where the real story begins. 

Once again feel the low vibration of the car beneath you. taking deep breaths in…and out…in…and out…

Travel can sometimes be a little bumpy…but also…a little bit magical too. Feel the hum of the engine… the seat beneath you…

Notice your hands resting… your feet still.

Take a deep breath in… and out…

You pull in closer to the tear in the sky, excited for the adventure to come.
