Frequently asked questions
-
The Mello Library is a growing collection of guided meditations, mindfulness lessons, and creative resources for children. It’s designed for teachers, counselors, and families who want to bring calm, curiosity, and emotional awareness into daily routines.
-
Start small. Try adding one short meditation each morning or at the end of the day. As children grow comfortable, you can weave in journaling pages, mindful movement, or breathing practices. Each section — A Week to Wonder, A Year to Grow, and The Simple Things — offers a natural next step when you’re ready.
-
The Mello Library was created for children ages 5–12, but the tone and tools can easily be adapted for younger or older groups. Each meditation is crafted to meet children where they are — curious, playful, and learning how to understand their feelings.
With that being said we have also had many adult s enjoy our meditations and incorporate them into their daily lives.
-
Most meditations are between 3-15 minutes long — some short enough to fit into your busy school day or bedtime routines, but long enough to make an impact. Some activities include optional reflection or breathing extensions for when you have more time.
-
Not at all. Mello is made to be simple and accessible, even if you’ve never led a meditation before. Each resource includes gentle guidance and language you can read directly to your students or children.
-
Absolutely. We love leading live meditations — both virtual and in person — for classrooms, school assemblies, and staff wellness sessions. Each experience is designed to meet your group’s unique needs, bringing calm connection and mindful energy to your community.
